Registered Users Only

I switched the blog to accept comments only from "registered users" -- this means you can still use open ID if you want to conceal your identity but it gives me greater control over comments posted. If this doesn't work, I will switch to blog members only (then you will have to be a follower). Thank you.

  1. You're welcome. Thanks for posting. I think we can have civil and MATURE conversations this way. Thanks to all who've helped control it here while I had such a busy month, but I think this is the way to go for now. We all know it was one person invading here after destroying every other decent place this subject matter was discussed, and sadly, decent people were accused of being that person, even when identifying themselves. This will make the good difference!

  2. Okay, maybe two people were taking advantage of my blog....I was familiar with only the one, as I do not follow IMDB or the forum... this is the only place I will post. Now, I've got a busy month ahead of me for Natalie's case. Thanks again. I will post updates.

  3. This is the best way to go, Marti. People who are truly interested and truly care will post on the blog.

  4. I agree. I am sick at heart over how one or two people can ruin such an honest effort to bring justice to a case that deserves it. I hope those of you with decency in your hearts for Natalie's justice will continue to post. And now you won't have to worry about the cyber stalkers attacking you. The minute I see them infiltrating here, I will delete, but now I will have their URL ID's before I do so, and I can report them .... decent people don't have to worry about such things... your information goes no further with me, but for those who think you can ruin my blog over your warped celebrity fixations, it won't happen here.

Glad you are still with us, even while in Nebraska (a state I've never been to!) Thanks for the good wishes. April is the month I'll be wrapping up everything to get the petition ready to go. I've got a nice clear motnh ahead of me and hope to really make progress. Thanks again, and I hope you are feeling completely well by now.

And that's what we will do...discuss the FACTS without all of the mindless interruptions! This feels RIGHT!

  9. Also we can address either by name rather "Anonymous". We will know who is saying what to whom and no one steal anyone's name and try to post as that person.

  10. Programming Notes of Interest: TCM is airing "Splendor in the Grass" at 8:00PM on Sat. April, 9th. (The Essentials) Then on April, 10th the whole day on TCM is dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor.

Robert Osborne has a special place in his heart for Natalie Wood and I always love listening to him talk about her. Hope everyone here gets a chance to see the show,

  11. Yes, Creed, Osborne's remembrance of his interview with Natalie early in his career is touching. He cited her patience with him as he struggled through the interview, advising him on asking more interesting questions, helping him sort his notes.

  12. Yes, that is a lovely remembrance of her.

  14. Ah........Mart...this is certainly the way to go! Would be posting more, but truthfully don't want to get in to IT with someone who doesn't really care about Natalie or justice for her. Who needs more DRAMA in their lives? I know YOU certainly don't! KEEP up the great work! We're here for you and your mission!

  15. I saw Splendor in the Grass on Friday night, I think it was, on TCM. I didn't catch Robert Osborne's intro but I saw the follow-up. Unfortunately there wasn't any talk about Natalie. :-( I would love to hear Osborne talk about Natalie.
