An interesting blog I found

Tally Ho!

There are some interesting photographs taken on the set of "This Property Is Condemned" at this blog. I also appreciate that this blogger posted GNGS and my blog link. It's an interesting blog you might want to follow.

  1. This was another great movie of Natalie's and Robert Redford. They acted well together and did another movie together. I complained to TCM that this movie was not being shown this month as she is the Star of the Month. Maybe if enough people ask for it they will play it? She looks really beautiful in it.

  2. Natalie was particularly breathtaking in "This Property Is Condemned"--I agree! I liked Robert Redford's short tribute to her that has aired on TCM and also is available on You Tube. He spoke so highly and respectfully of her in that short tribute. Funny--he spoke so many more kind words about her than I have heard from Wagner over a number of years.

  3. I think Redford really respected and adored her and carries a tad of guilt because he didn't think of her for Ordinary People as Natalie really wanted that part. One thing I noticed in Redford's YouTube tribute to Natalie, he makes sure to bring up her fear of water (in the throwing her in the pool part). It's a subtle suggestion, but it is evident what he thinks about her death. Does anyone agree?

  4. Yes, I agree that Robert Redford respected Natalie. He was also the Best Man at her Wedding to Richard Gregson. A lot of Internet sites have talked about how she had an affair with every co-star. Robert Redford was very handsome, but they remained friends. Yes, it was probably a subtle suggestion about her fear of water.

  5. Yes, I wish Redford had given Natalie a chance at "Ordinary People." Mary Tyler Moore did a great job with it, but Natalie would have, too. And I just have to believe that if she had gotten that role, she wouldn't have ended up involved with "Brainstorm" and that weekend likely would never have happened. Oh, the "what ifs..."

  6. Natalie and Redford had excellent on-screen chemistry. Her death shocked him terribly. It shocked all of Hollywood, of course, but you can tell Redford took it hard.
