Amazon Product Description

Hollywood film hairstylist, Ginger "Sugar" Blymyer has lived and worked with some of the most fascinating people in the world. She has also heard their innermost thoughts.

"Sugar" worked for seventeen years with Natalie Wood and many years with Elizabeth Montgomery. Her story includes rare experiences with her favorite actors and actresses; Sean Connery, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, William Hurt, Robert Redford, Nick Nolte, Sir Laurence Olivier, James Mason, Gregory Hines and many, many more.

This book is for those who are interested in the art of film, movie stars, life behind the scenes, people who want to work in the entertainment industry and anyone looking for inspiration. It is one woman's history of Hollywood.

Note from Marti: This was a really interesting read. Ginger shared some fascinating anecdotes, and I highly recommend Hairdresser To The Stars.

  2. This is my go-to book when I want to read something special about Natalie.
This poor woman was attacked when she came out in favor of GNGS. She stood by her beliefs and stood by Natalie. She's a sweetheart.

  3. I think it's a standard pic of Natalie and the tribute happened to use the one with Ginger in it. I think it's a compliment to Ginger. The tribute was a nice gesture. It's a shame Marti and the creator took so much flack over it. Some people...

  4. It is not a standard pic. Please! Can you people do a little back history before foaming at the mouth at anything you think is negative against Marti or Dennis.

  5. Actually, that is not Ginger on the tribute pic. If you look, you can see Ginger is cut out (you can just see her arm on the left). He didn't take it from Ginger's cover. He dosen't even know about that book.

  6. Thanks Marti for all your hard work, I check your blog every day. I really, really look forward to the truth as what really happened 29 years ago, and justice for Natalie, it's way over do. I took your advise and just ordered Hairdresser to the stars, it should be a good read. Thanks again Marti and everyone who has helped to bring this misjustice to the public eye.
